It was very foolish of Garin to try and be a pirate on somebody else's turf, and now he has to pay the penalty. One stormy evening a HUGE ship sailed right next to Garin's ship, belonging to the fearsome Captain Scarblade - he was out for revenge!
In this game you play Garin and your mission is to repel the pirate hordes! You must use the arrow keys to move, and the Space Bar to swipe your sword. Initially you only have to stop the pirates from climbing aboard, but later on you will also have to fire your cannons at the Revenge. When your cannons are on fire you will have to put them out with the bucket of water. Bear in mind you can only carry one item at a time.

PRACTICE LEVELS:: Levels one, two and three will prepare you for the real action. In the first level you only have a sword to use (left image). In level two, you see cannon balls at the left and a water bucket at the right. Using these items instead of the sword, will dubble the points you get, but more about that below. Then, in level three the cannons need to used too. Make sure they all have a cannonball in it. When Jacques ignite the fuse and the cannon gets burned out, you lose a life.
POINTS (1): Earning points can be done in several ways. The main goal is to hit the characters you see below. When you hit them with your sword, you will earn the amount of points underneath their pictures. Using the cannonball or bucket to hit them will earn you twice the amount of points stated.

POINTS (2): From level 3 there are three cannons placed. Jacques will come down and will frequently put a fire near one of them. To score points, you need to grab a cannonball and drop it into the cannon. When Jacques fires the cannonball out of tthe cannon, you score 12 points, and a new cannonball must be put into it. If at any moment, you don't have added a cannonball when the cannon is fired, it will burn out. During the burn-out fire, you can grab the water bucket and throw it towards the fire. You then still get 5 points added. When a cannon is fully burned out, you also lose one life.
ORANGE GUY:: On a very rare occasion, the Orange Shirt Guy can appear in the game. Using a sword to hit him, will earn you an extra 10 points. Hitting it with a cannonball or water bucket will double that.
GAME OVER:: The game ends when you have lost 5 lifes. But using the Games Master Code (see above), will give you an extra life!! Each pirate that goes onboard Garin's ship will lose you one life. And for each burned out cannon too. So make sure that this does not happen too often.
