In this game, you play Samrin the Kacheek, a simple shepherd who has to get his petpets to safety before Balthazar (who is very hungry after a day hunting faeries) eats them all. Use the Arrow Keys to move. You automatically pick up each petpet as you touch it (use the Space Bar to drop the petpet). Try and put them all into the paddock before Balthazar eats them. You have three lives, and you lose one each time you, or a petpet gets eaten. Picking up a Snowflake will freeze Balthazar temporarily, and picking up an
orange speed orb will give you a temporary burst of speed!

GAME HELP : Here are some tips you can use while playing the game:

 GAMEPLAY:
In this game, you play Samrin the Kacheek, a simple shepherd who has to get his petpets to safety before Balthazar (who is very hungry after a day hunting faeries) eats them all. Use the Arrow Keys to move. You automatically pick up each petpet as you touch it (use the Space Bar to drop the petpet). Try and put them all into the paddock before Balthazar eats them. You have three lives, and you lose one each time you, or a petpet gets eaten.
PETPETS TO SAVE:
Each round you need to save the following Petpet species from being eaten. More and more of them will appear each new round you start.

 TELEPORTERS & PADDOCK GATES:
In levels 1 till 4 there are teleporters on each side of the screen. Walk through them to get to the opposite side of the screen. In level 5 the top teleporter is gone. Level 6 has the the bottom one also removed. In level 7 the right teleporter is gone, and finally the left teleporter is gone from level 8. The same also happens with the paddock gates. Level 9 the top paddock, level 10 the bottom paddock, and finally the right paddock in level 11. The left paddock gate stays open during the entire game (otherwise you can't rescue the Petpets).
 POWER-UP:
Picking up a snowflake will freeze Balthazar for 2 seconds, and picking up an orange speed orb will give you a 5 second burst of speed!.
POINTS:
Each Petpet that you save is worth 1 point. In almost every level you see one petpet with a yellow symbol above it. Saving that petpet scores you the BONUS CATCH. Each round you save that petpet increases the number of bonus points. Starting with 2 and climbing with 1 point every couple of levels. Also, for saving all the petpets without losing a petpet earns the SAVED ALL BONUS at the end of the level.
 TIPS:
At the beginning of each level, Balthazar appears from the top-left corner of the screen. Make sure Samrin is near that corner. The petpets there need to be saved first, otherwise Balthazar has them quickly, loosing a life too easy. Also, it is possible to move pass Balthazar, but beware, only do this moving as close near the paddock as possible. And the final tip, if you need a break, then catch the last petpet in a level, but don't throw it in the paddock yet. Balthazar does not come to you when you have the last petpet, and therefor you can use it as break before starting a new level.
