Many years ago, in the gleaming, gem-filled depths of Neopia's richest mines, the Bori Miner discovered an incredibly rare and valuable jewel. Before the Bori Miner could share his discovery with the rest of Neopia, however, a rival miner claimed that he'd discovered the gem and accused the Bori of stealing it. An argument ensued that led to bitter, lasting resentment against the Bori Miner on the part of his rival. To wreak his vengeance on the Bori, the rival miner sought to sabotage the Bori's successful mining efforts by training his Sandan to steal gems from the Bori Miner's delivery system. One day, the rival hopes to bring down the Bori's prosperous mining company and finally enjoy his revenge!

NEOPETS NEW GAME CHALLENGE: With the release of this game, Neopets has started the 12th New Game Challenge. The New Game Challenge awards prizes to users for reaching certain scores in the new game. There will be prize tiers for AAA, Abigail, and Lulu (Note: in order to earn the Lulu prize, you must participate in the New Game NC Challenge). It's possible to win all prizes, however, you will be awarded each prize only once per game. An added bonus of participating is that users will be allowed to send scores five times a day when playing the New Game Challenge game.
