Torchlight dances over the rough stone walls, and in the gloom, something gleams, catching the intrepid Wocky's eye. Though fear courses through his veins, he can't tear his gaze from the glittering numbered tiles, nor can he keep his paw from straying toward the dice beneath them. What will be the outcome of his fateful roll? Will the door open to free him... or will he be trapped forever?
GAME HELP : Here are some tips you can use while playing the game.
GAMEPLAY: Along the top of the screen, levers are inscribed with the numbers 1 through 9. Choose to roll either 1 or 2 dice and then push any combination of levers that add up to the sum of the dice. Try to clear each of the levers with the rolls available for that round (indicated in the top middle of the screen). When there are no levers available that add up to the sum of the dice, you need to roll again until the sum of the dice is exact to the number on the lever(s).
5 ROUNDS: The game has 5 rounds. In each round you need to do the same as stated above. Each next round gets a bit more difficult to complete. In round 1 you have 20 rolls to clear all levers. Round 2 has 17 rolls, round 3 has 15 rolls and round 4 has 12 rolls to complete the level. When you reach the last, round 5, you only have 10 rolls to reach the end of the game.
POINTS: Each lever you clear earns you 10 points. For completing all levers in a round, you receive 10 extra points. Therefor you score 100 points per round. When you complete the game, you have scored 500 points. But you can score more points, during the Bonus Rounds after you complete a round.
BONUS ROUND: If you are fortunate enough to clear all the levers you will earn a Bonus Round. Any rolls remaining will be carried over to the Bonus Round where you can earn extra points for matching the colored sides of the dice. Green is +10 points, Yellow is +5 points and Red is -10 points. So beware not to get 2 red dice, or you lose points.
GAME OVER: The game ends when have completed all 5 rounds, or when you fail to complete a round by having no rolls left. When this happens, the points you have will be shown and you can send in your score for Neopoints.
NEOPETS NEW GAME CHALLENGE: With the release of this game, Neopets introduced the New Game Challenge. The New Game Challenge awards prizes to users for reaching certain scores in the new game. There will be prize tiers for AAA, Abigail, and Lulu (Note: in order to earn the Lulu prize, you must participate in the New Game NC Challenge). It's possible to win all prizes, however, you will be awarded each prize only once per game. An added bonus of participating is that users will be allowed to send scores five times a day when playing the New Game Challenge game.
