GAME HELP : Here are some tips you can use while playing the game.
ALTADOR CUP V: From 05/22/2010 till 07/04/2010, the Altador Cup V Gaming Tournament is the place to be. Who of the 18 teams will win this years Altador Cup? Join a team and help your team by playing Shootout Showdown or one of the other Altador Cup V Games.
GAMEPLAY: Use the left and right arrow keys to adjust your Yooyuball and the space bar to shoot. Holding down the space bar will add more power to your shot and earn you some extra points, if you time it correctly. Blast your Yooyuball past the goalie 5 times in 60 seconds to win. Be sure to keep an eye on the clock, though -- that minute goes by fast!
SHOOTING: Choose a side to shoot the Yooyuballs (left or right). When the game begins, press the LEFT or RIGHT arrow key 2 times and make the shot when the keeper is at the other side of the goalie. Do this 5 times fast to get a maximum score. Each time the keeper stops the Yooyuball from getting into the goal, your score gets lower. So try to avoid that from happening.
FULL POWER SHOT: Although it costs time, you can press the spacebar longer to fill up the power meter to the max. When you do this, and you get the Yooyuball in the goal, confetti is visible and the audience is cheering. It looks nice and gives you a great feeling, but it does not earn you extra points :(
POINTS: To begin with, the maximum score you can receive is 1,200 points. There are three ways to score points in this game. At the end of the game, they all get add to your final score, where you can send it in for Neopoints or for your Altador Cup team score.
You get 35 points for each goal scored within the 60 seconds. (5x earns you 175 points).
For each second you have left, you get 14 points added. (50 seconds left is 700 points).
You receive 300 extra points for using 5 Yooyuballs and not missing the goal once.
You receive 100 extra points for using 6-10 Yooyuballs where 5 of them get in the goal.
You receive 0 extra points for using 11+ Yooyuballs where 5 of them get in the goal.
