GAME HELP : Here are some tips you can use while playing the game
GAMEPLAY: Guide the Nimmo around his pond and help him shoot the lily pads without bumping into them. Clear all the lily pads to advance to the next level. Watch your health meter and keep your paddle power, or your game will end too soon. Use the left and right arrow keys to spin the Nimmo's lily pad and aim. Use the up arrow key to paddle. Sitting still will allow your paddle power to recharge.
SHOOTING: Hit your spacebar to shoot at the lily pads. Using the spacebar will give you unlimited shots. Pressing the B key will launch a bomb, but use your bombs wisely! You're given three bombs at the start of the game, but after that, you must rely on power-ups to get more. To catch powerups, hit the V key, which will make the Nimmo's tongue come out and grab them.
POWER-UPS: A power-up is visible in the game after a lily pad is decreased by shooting at it, or using a bomb. Below you see the power-ups that can appear. To receive their power, you must grab them with Nimmo's tongue. The Green, Yellow and Orange power-up begin at stage 1. Each time you grab another of the same power-up, you advance to a next stage. The higher the stage, the more power or amount of fire power are given. The maximum to reach is stage 5. If you want to keep the current shooting power-up, then you must avoid the other shooting power-ups. If you do grab an other, that power-up will replace your current, and will begin in stage 1.
LEVELS / POINTS: The game has at least 94 levels. There is no time limit, just watch out for the lily pads. Each level you need to decrease the lily pads, each decrease is worth 10 points. In each level you can earn a maximum of 120 points. At that moment you advance to the next level. More lily pads will appear and they will have more speed. It's handy if you already have a good shooting power-up at that moment, so that less shots are needed to decrease the lily pads.
As far as we know the highest score ever scored is 11,240. Which means that person was playing level 94. If you ever completed the game, or have prove of higher levels, then please fill in the form below.
HEALTH / PADDLE POWER: At the bottom of the gamescreen, you see 2 meters. On the left is the health meter. That will decrease each time you bump into a lily pad. At the right side is the paddle power meter. When moving around with the Nimmo, the meter decreases. But when you stand still, the meter will increase again, until it's full again.
BOMBS: In the middle-bottom of the gamescreen you see three bombs. Each time you use one, a bomb explodes, and a circle surrounds the pad of the Nimmo. Evevy lil pad that is close to it, will decrease. Note that while using the bomb, you will not earn points for decreasing the lily pad. Only use the bomb, if your in big trouble!
STRATEGY: On way to be able to play the game longer, is to not move the Nimmo. Stay on the location in the middle and turn left and right to shoot all the lily pads. Even if they are not close enough to reach, they will if you wait a minute. At the moment you move forward, the lily pad of the Nimmo is in motion and can't be stopped. You can slow down, but it will always move, making it more difficult to advance to the next level. You now need to watch which direction you go to avoid bumping into lily pads instead of circling around in the middle of the gamescreen.
GAME OVER: The game can end because of two things. The first is if your health power meter is empty. The second is when your paddle power meter is empty. In both ways the game ends and you get to see your final score. Send in your score to receive Neopoints, and if the score is high enough, you will receive the Nimmos Pond avatar.
